The second quarter of 2021 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top maps and navigation apps in Lebanon. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and active users for the leading apps in this category.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 1.4K in early April and reaching nearly 1.8K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users also showed a positive trend, beginning at around 5.8K and consistently growing to approximately 6.7K by the quarter's end.

Uber - Request a ride also saw growth in weekly downloads, with numbers climbing from 824 in the first week of April to about 2.4K by the end of June. However, the weekly active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 57.1K and ending at around 58.4K.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation had a more varied performance. Weekly downloads ranged from a low of 354 in early May to a high of 849 in mid-April. The app's weekly active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 1.7K in April and stabilizing around 1.5K by the end of June.

GPS+ Maps, Navigation, Traffic demonstrated consistent weekly download numbers, starting at 213 in late March and reaching a high of 651 in early June. Weekly active users also showed growth, beginning at 573 and increasing to approximately 1K by early June before seeing a slight decline towards the quarter's end.

TMO Lebanon showed significant growth in weekly downloads, starting at 420 in late March and peaking at 707 in the third week of June. The weekly active users data for TMO Lebanon was not available.
